Level 2 Painting & Decorating NVQ

The NVQ Level 2 in Painting and Decorating is a vocational qualification that assesses your practical skills and knowledge in the workplace. It proves your competence to work safely and effectively on-site.

This NVQ is ideal for painters and decorators who are already working in the industry and want to gain a nationally recognised qualification.

There are no formal qualifications required, but you must be currently working as a painter and decorator.

To get started, simply complete our registration form.

You can begin your NVQ on any date that works best for you.

We’ll need at least a copy of photo ID to proceed.

Complete your NVQ through our user-friendly Online Portfolio System.

Your dedicated assessor will guide you through each stage:

• Knowledge Questions – You can either write your answers or discuss them with your assessor.

• Witness Testimony – We’ll provide a template to help you collect this easily.

• Site Documents – Upload any relevant documentation from your site.

• Photos & Videos – Share visual evidence of you completing tasks on-site.

• You can achieve this NVQ in as little as 4 weeks by collaborating closely with your assessor and submitting the required evidence.

• Once completed successfully, you’ll receive your NVQ diploma.

• Eligibility to apply for the Blue CSCS Card

• Proves your skills to employers

• May lead to more job opportunities or higher pay

• Can support progression to a Level 3 NVQ
